These entry level targets are good for general short range use where the Fanbeam is only required as a position reference in close range of the installation. They consist of diamond grade reflective tape wrapped in a vertical orientation on 1m long aluminium tubes for optimal range performance.

1 ton shackles at both ends of the tube allow for deployment by crane and for simple attachment to a handrail or other structure on the side of an offshore installation. These target types do require regular maintenance in order to ensure salt deposits do not build up which can damage the reflective properties of the target.
